Do I need to file an insurance claim?

It happens, a storm has damaged homes in your area. Now what? Whether it is hail, high winds or worse, White Hawk has your back. Follow these steps when you believe your home has damage:

  1. Call a contractor for an inspection. Of course we prefer that you call White Hawk Roofing and Construction, but why us? We are dedicated to honesty and quality in our work. This means we aren’t afraid to tell you that there isn’t any damage  unlike some competitors.  If there is damage, we will give you an honest assessment of what needs to be done.

  2. File an insurance claim. Turns out you did have damage. Now it’s time to give your insurance company or agent a call. They will schedule an adjuster to inspect your property and ask that your contractor be present.

  3. The property inspection. Your contractor and the insurance adjuster meet at your home and inspect the damages. Your contractor, preferably White Hawk, is present to indicate areas that we believe were damaged due to the storm, and answer any questions the adjuster may have.

  4. The insurance estimate. After the inspection, if the adjuster agrees that there is enough damage for a claim, the adjuster will issue you, the home owner, an estimate. This estimate shows how much you will pay as a deductible, the insurance company will pay to repair your home, and other important information. Although these forms can be confusing, White Hawk will gladly walk you through it. At this point, we ask that you send the estimate to us. This will insure that your insurance company has included everything that needs to be done. White Hawk will go to bat for you, to insure that all the necessary items are listed on the estimate for your insurance company.

  5. Get the work done, and submit the final invoice. After receiving your estimate, and upon agreement with you, White Hawk will perform the work. After the work is completed in its entirety, White Hawk will issue an invoice to you (per the insurance estimate). You would then send the invoice to your insurance and wait for them to pay you, then you pay us.

  6. We are done. Great! The work is done, now what? Spread the word and refer out White Hawk of course! Submit us a review via email to bob@whitehawkpro.com
